Holly Willoughby gave birth to her second baby, Belle, just a month ago, after a long Tweeted labour. But the TV presenter is clearly missing co-host Philip Schofield enough to pop in and see him on This Morning. Holly revealed all about Belle’s birth and thanked viewers for their gifts.

“We had to leave her in for as long as possible but obviously my waters had broken so she was at risk of infection. It was all a bit stop start stop start. But she’s here and she’s fine. She’s 7lb 6oz now and was born at 5lb 2oz so in four weeks she’s done really well,” Holly told Philip and Ruth Langsford, who is standing in for her.

“I also wanted to say thank you to everybody for all your amazing messages and also the little knitted jumpers and booties that you sent me, because Belle was so tiny they were actually the only things that fitted – so Belle has worn many of them. Thank you very much,” Holly, 30, said to viewers.

Holly and husband Dan Baldwin also have a son, Harry, 2.
