“I’m Blanket’s dad,” claims Michael Jackson’s bodyguard
MJ’s former bodyguard claims he donated sperm to the singer and that he’s the 8-year-old’s biological father
Poor Blanket Jackson. Since his famous dad Michael Jackson passed away in 2009, he has been caught up in several custody claims, and today a new name has hit the headlines.
Michael Jackson’s former bodyguard Matt Fiddes, 29, has claimed that he is the biological dad to 8-year-old Blanket, after revealing that he donated sperm to the late singer in 2001.
Claiming that MJ told him he wanted an “athletic” child and telling him that he would pay for him to be a dad, the martial arts expert believes that his sperm was used to conceive Blanket, reports the Daily Mail.
The former bodyguard and once close friend of the superstar, also claims that he intends on demanding a DNA test and will fight for custody against MJ’s mum Katherine Jackson, who has full custody of all the Jackson children.
This isn’t the first time that Blanket and his 12-year-old sister Paris have been involved in a paternity riddle. Former Oliver! star Mark Lester previously claimed that he was Paris’ real dad and there were even rumours that Home Alone star Macauley Culkin was Blanket’s dad. However this has since been denied.
Matt Fiddes has even joined forces with Mark Lester to fight for custody if Katherine Jackson was to pass away while Blanket and Paris were still children. “If it happened, Mark and I have a pact. We would get a legal team and ask for DNA tests, and look into getting access,” he told the Daily Mail.
