Toddlers seem to go through phases, we reckon – and royal toddlers are no exception.

Princess Charlotte, aged 2, is currently going through the ‘pink stage’, according to her mum Kate Middleton.

The Duchess of Cambridge revealed the interesting tidbit to 6-year-old Nevaeh Richardson-Natiko at a recent public event.

“She asked me what my favorite colour is,” Nevaeh said after the meeting. “I said it was pink and she said that’s Charlotte’s favorite colour too.”

(Nevaeh was even wearing a pink dress for the occasion – awwww)

Princess Charlotte turns 3 in May 2018, so we’re a little surprised that she’s already really, really obsessed with pink.

In our experience, it’s a pretty common phenomenon. Many of team MFM experienced something similar with their little ones – where simply everything had to be pink. Everything. And then some.

Of course, not all girls and boys go through the ‘pink stage’ and of those that do, it doesn’t always last forever.

So, only time will tell if a teenage Princess Charlotte will be asking mum and dad to paint Kensington Palace magenta…

P.S. We wonder if Prince George went through the same phase, too?
