Lauryn Hill pregnant with child number six
The former Fugees singer tells crowds she’ll be taking time off to give birth
Singer Lauryn Hill has revealed that she is expecting her sixth child with on/off partner Rohan Marley.
The 36-year-old announced her pregnancy to the audience at her gig at Detroit’s Chene Park on Saturday night, saying she will be taking some time out to give birth.
There was speculation that she was pregnant back in April, when she performed at the Coachella music festival in California, showing a slightly rounded stomach.
Lauryn, whose first album won her five Grammys, already has five children with Rohan, Zion David-Nesta, 13, Selah, 12, Joshua, 9, John, 7, and Sarah, 3.
“I keep having these children. I don’t know if I’m the most fertile woman in America,” Lauryn joked two months ago.

It is thought that Lauryn will give birth later this year.
