Maclaren has announced a brand new Object of Design buggy will join its ranks! This time, the British buggy maker has teamed up with Cath Kidston, to create the Cath Kidston II Spray Flowers Quest.

This new Cath Kidston Quest, as the name hints, is based on the top performing Maclaren Quest buggy, and features a beautiful spray flower pattern, which oozes old-world charm. Florals aren’t to every mum’s liking, but those who adore the retro Liberty print look will be in heaven.

The first time these two big names joined forces, we were given the Maclaren Cath Kidston Red Spot. This buggy, Maclaren told us, was one of the most popular buggies in the history of the company.

“The pretty Spray Flowers print is a classic Cath Kidston floral, and being a darker colour than its spotty counterpart, it’s easier to maintain spills. This is the perfect option for Autumn babies and we hope parents love it as much as we do,” said Jo Staveley, Brand Director for Cath Kidston.

Now to the nuts and bolts… the buggy weighs a featherweight 5.5kg (minus the hood, raincover or basket) and is suitable from 6 month to 3 years. It boasts a 4-position recline and extendable leg rest. As well as the shopping basket, there’s a storage pocket in the hood, and this hood also has a viewing window. There’s also a carry strap and carry handle for ease of moving it around when folded.

This newcomer, along with raincover and co-ordinating floral footmuff, will retail for around £230 and will be in stores this week (try John Lewis, Cath Kidston and Winstanley's).
