Justine Hargreaves, mum to five children, lost her four-year battle with cervical cancer on Sunday, reports the Metro.
Determined to give her children a lasting legacy, the 38-year old mum, penned a guidebook, called the ‘Mummy Manual’, to help them through life.
One of mum Justine’s entries to open the journal was, “Remember to give your brothers and sisters cuddles whenever they are feeling down.”
Determined to keep her children’s spirits up, Justine wrote, “It is fine to make mistakes but you must learn from them and move on. Be proud of yourself, your upbringing and your family.”
Along with the guide, Justine left her children with a memory box, which included items from their family trips to the Blackpool aquarium and Pleasure Beach.
To further help her children, Justine set up a ‘Help Justine’ Facebook campaign and raised £20,000 to go towards her children’s future. “I love you so much and I’m the proudest daughter in the world to have this strong fighter in my life,” her eldest daughter Jade wrote on the Facebook page.
“She was a wonderful mother and a wonderful person,” said friend Victoria Tierney.
