Are these the next Labubu? Adorable plushies tipped to be new viral toy this Christmas
Introducing the Noodoll

A new plush toy has been tipped to join the ranks of the viral Labubu and Jellycat this Christmas – and when you see how cute it is, you'll understand why.
Noodoll plushies have been named in Selfridges' predictions for the trendiest toys this Christmas.
These adorable characters were created by former London art school student Yiying, who was inspired by the shapes of rice grains and noodles from her native Taiwan.
They started life as a storybook character before being produced into a full plushie range that comes in a variety of designs and outfits.

Selfridges has particularly zoned in on the Ricespud teddies, which resemble little potatoes and measure in at just 13cm. However, they make up for a small size with oodles of cuteness and come in different costumes, like rabbits, dinosaurs, carrots and graduation caps.
Plushes are of course not just popular with children, taking up huge space in the adult toy space too. According to Business Insider, in 2024, adults spent more than $1.5 billion on toys over the festive season.
Also on Selfridges' top 10 list was the Jellycat fish and chip range, as well as Sylvanian Families and Labubu's, so it's fair to say cuteness is in. Take a look at the must-have toys for Christmas for more information.
