Octonauts – from TV screen to magazine!

The top CBeebies programme Octonauts has now launched as a magazine for young children

Popular CBeebies underwater explorers The Octonauts are now the stars of their very own science and nature magazine, aimed at children aged 3 to 5 years.

After the success of the one-off Octonauts CBeebies Special magazine following the popular TV series, the new magazine captures yet more adventures of Captain Barnacles Bear, Kwazii Kitten, Peso Penguin and their friends. It focuses on children’s curiosity of the underwater world, teaching them about nature and how to help others and the environment.

“We’re very excited to be working with this hugely successful CBeebies programme. The launch of this new magazine gives young fans an opportunity to experience the adventures of the Octonauts in new and exciting ways,” says Pauline Cooke, publisher of Octonauts magazine.

To celebrate the launch, there’s a fantastic Octonauts competition to enter. One lucky child will win a visit from two of the Octonauts characters, Barnacles and Kwasii, to your child’s nursery or school in January 2012.
