Proud mum explains ‘family tradition’ of quirky baby names
Peaches Geldof has introduced her new baby Phaedra with a glamorous photoshoot in Hello magazine… and he’s a cutie!
Looking unfeasibly radiant and relaxed a mere two weeks after having her second child, Peaches chatted about a spooky family coincidence and the ‘family tradition’ of eccentric names.
“I wouldn't be a Geldof if I didn't get stick in the press about my ridiculous choice of names," she happily admitted. “I've got to uphold the family's tradition."
“His full name is Phaedra Bloom Forever, which I think sounds like a rock star. We chose Bloom because my middle name is Honeyblossom and also in homage to Nirvana's 'In Bloom'. 'Forever' we chose purely because it sounded cool.''
Peaches, who also has 13-month-old son Astala with her husband Thomas Cohen, told reporters it was pure coincidence that Phaedra (who was born by ceasarean section) shares a birthday with her late mother, Paula Yates.
