So, Christmas ads: we’ve had the sentimental home vids from Sainsburys, the cutesy animation from John Lewis and the fairytale from M&S. And now Harvey Nichols have come up with the brazenly self-indulgent.
In the tongue-in-cheek advert, a little boy unwraps a Harvey Nichols sink plug while his gorgeously overdressed mother admires her new dress in the mirror. Whoops! Well, that's what happens when you go Christmas shopping and 'accidentally' spend all the money on yourself.
Now, just imagine for a second that you could splurge all the money you're spending on LEGO and Furbies on yourself. Just for a second…?
