The Olympic swimmer is blaming pregnancy hormones for making her cry
Rebecca Adlington only announced her first pregnancy last week, but she admits she's already suffering from pregnancy hormones! And it was the John Lewis Christmas ad, featuring the adorable Monty the penguin that set poor Rebecca off.
"Awwww, just saw the John Lewis penguin advert for the first time and I started crying!!! I blame pregnancy hormones! So sweet!" she tweeted.
The Olympic swimmer recently married Harry Needs and reckons the baby must have been conceived just a day into their honeymoon 3 months ago.
After making the announcement, Rebecca couldn't contain her excitement as she thanked fans for their support.
"Thank you so much for all the lovely messages!!! Really kind. We're so excited! I can't wait to be a mum! #pregnant #excited," she tweeted.
