6 fabulous non-alcoholic cocktails including mulled non-wine, bellinis and tropical pick-me-ups
Mulled Apple Spice
All the aromas of mulled wine without the alcohol.
Ingredients
1 litre of fresh apple juice
Strips of orange peel
1 cinnamon stick
2 star anise
3 cloves
Sugar or honey to taste
Method
Heat the apple juice in a saucepan on the hob.
Add the orange peel, cinnamon and cloves and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Sweeten to taste.
Orange and Cranberry Fizz
Bubbles are still on the menu even if you're a mum-to-be.
Ingredients
500ml smooth orange juice
500ml cranberry juice
400ml sparkling elderflower drink
Method
Mix the orange juice and cranberry juice in a large jug.
Slowly pour in the sparkling elderflower drink (pouring too fast will cause it to fizz up).
Mix and serve over ice, decorate with fresh orange.
Baby Bellini
Radiate style with this sophisticated tipple.
Ingredients
500ml chilled sparkling apple juice
250ml apricot nectar
A squeeze of fresh lemon
Slice of lemon
Method
Mix the apricot nectar and fresh lemon in a large jug.
Slowly pour in the sparkling apple juice (pouring too fast will cause it to fizz up).
Mix and serve in champagne flutes, decorate with a slice of lemon

Mama-Rita
Indulge yourself with this alcohol-free fruity delight
Ingredients
330ml frozen lemonade (put into a container and freeze)
150ml orange juice
2tbsp sugar
Handful frozen strawberries
Squeeze of fresh lime
Method
(White Portion) Blend half the frozen lemonade, half the orange juice, and 1tbsp sugar until smooth. Freeze in a container for one hour.
(Red Portion) Blend the remaining frozen lemonade, orange juice, the frozen strawberries and 1tbsp sugar until smooth.
Pour the red portion into margarita glasses, fill up half way
Add a scoop of the white portion to each glass and top with a squeeze of lime.

Tropical Mama
Kick back and dream of a tropical island.
Ingredients
1 banana
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
200ml whole milk
200ml pineapple juice
A handful of ice cubes
Whipped cream
Method
Set aside a couple of kiwi slices for garnish.
Put the remaining kiwi, banana, milk and pineapple juice in a blender and blend with the ice.
Serve in a tall glass with a kiwi side and whipped cream.

Mo-Jo Restorer
Get your Mo-Jo back with this refreshing take on our favourite cocktail.
Ingredients
Crushed Ice (use a blender or bash inside a tea towel)
1 squeeze of fresh lemon juice
1 squeeze of fresh lime juice
20ml elderflower cordial
Chilled carbonated water
A few mint leaves
Ground black pepper, for garnish
Method
Fill a glass with crushed ice.
Squeeze over the fresh lemon and lime juice.
Add the elderflower cordial and top up the glass with carbonated water.
Garnish with rocket leaves and a twist of black pepper.
