Comfy as well as pretty, it’s no surprise that the Daisy maternity bra is a best-selling design from well-established maternity lingerie brand Emily B.

This bra strikes a good balance between functional and attractive. The cotton-lined cups and huge range of sizes make it comfortable to wear, while the broderie anglaise straps, outer lace layer and pink satin and pearl decorative bows keep it looking good. You won’t object too much to these straps slipping into view – although the thicker ones on the larger sizes are a little less attractive.

A strong under-band and wider straps on larger cup sizes provide support for the bigger bust, but there’s also an underwired version available – a world first in maternity bras according to the manufacturers. However, there are some concerns about wearing underwired bras during pregnancy and post-birth, so make sure you’re fully informed before making your choice.

What we love

Sizes available range from 30B to 40J and everything in between – great news if you’re an unusual measurement or a larger size. With a cream version and matching briefs and thong also available, this range has all the basics covered.
Plus, if you enjoy wearing this bra during pregnancy, you can move on to the nursing bra for breastfeeding.

What to watch out for

Do note that cups come up quite large, so go for the size down if you’re a borderline measurement to avoid the top of the cups gaping open.

Also, the disadvantage of the pretty design is that the lace trimmings can be a little itchy on sensitive skin. This is also the case with the two different knicker designs available.

Who is Emily B’s Daisy maternity bra best for?

Ideal for the bigger busted mum-to-be.
