The unit works by loading the basket and lid with a bottle and placing it in the base unit with 80 ml of water. Secure the lid, place in the microwave for a few minutes, and it’s done. Alternatively, you can fill the unit with water and sterilising solution. There’s even a spout on top to pour the water out before you open it.
Instructions must be followed carefully to ensure the bottle is fully sterilised.
What we love
I love this product for delivering exactly what it promises – a convenient steriliser small enough to fit in a large changing bag. Being quite obsessive about sterile bottles this means I can make up my daughter Tippi’s feed as and when she needs it, which gives me peace of mind.
If I’m going out on a short trip, a clean bottle with lid will suffice, but if I’m going out on a day trip this is ideal. You don’t necessarily need a microwave because it can also be used as a cold water steriliser, and knowing this is reassuring. I personally find it easier to use in a microwave and measure out 80ml of water into the unsterilised bottle.
I often use it for teething rings, regularly thrown on the floor. Ready in 3 minutes, it’s quick and simple to use.

The simple white cylinder tub looks good when out and about, but is also very practical for those night-time feeds at home when my baby wants feeding immediately!
What to watch out for
As with every microwave steriliser, make sure you let the steam escape through the valve at the top before opening, and follow the instructions carefully.
