Just when you thought you’d heard it all, along comes a flat-pack bottle that’s so small you can fit a few in your bag and still have plenty of space. The Vital Baby Nurture single use feeding bottle is sealed in a sterile bag, is BPA free, biodegradable, and anti-colic. Not bad for a disposable bottle!
Vital Baby Nurture single use sterile feeding bottles come in a pack of four, for £2.99. Each one is perfect for travel as it’s independently sealed, made from safe BPA-free recyclable materials and is available with medium or fast flow teats, unlike other disposables on the market. When you want to use the bottle you simply take it out and it’s ready to go. And more than that, the clever design allows the bottle to collapse as your baby feeds, preventing colic and wind pains. You can use them to feed your baby breast milk, infant formula or even water. Suddenly a day out doesn’t seem so daunting.
What we love
This is one convenient bottle, although it is in fact a pouch. It looks a little like the drip bags used in hospitals. But, it certainly does the job!
I have used disposable bottles before. The Tommee Tippee ones were originally sold in individually sealed packs but they were bulky. They then decided to pack the bottles together to save space, but this means you have to keep opening and closing the bag each time you go to feed your baby. This concerns me. What I love about the Vital Baby Nurture single use sterile feeding bottles is they are flat-packed and sealed in their own bag making them safer and smaller. So, when you’re out for the day, and don’t have access to a steriliser there’s no need for an extra bag to carry all your bottles.
They are also very easy to use – simply take it from the bag and unroll it. I first tried the a Vital Baby Nurture single use sterile feeding bottle at the airport while waiting to go on holiday abroad with my daughter Tippi. We were delayed. This saved me a lot of bother and stress, and Tippi seemed more than happy to drink from it.
Apart from being extremely convenient, it comes with a host of other appealing attributes. They’re BPA-free, made from 100% recyclable materials – great when using anything disposable – and they’re anti-colic. I will definitely be using these again.
What to watch out for
The bottles are very easy to use when they’re full, but as your baby drinks the bottle can go slightly floppy. This isn’t a disaster. I just found I had to rest the bottle on my arm for the last drops of milk. This may be slightly problematic if you have a wriggly baby though.
Make sure you get the right teat. The medium-flow bottles are for 0-3 months old and fast-flow for 3 months plus.
Who is the Vital Baby Nurture single use sterile feeding bottle best for?
Travelling mums and babies after compact convenience.
A very handy flat-packed bottle that is so small you can hold a few in your bag and still have plenty of room. They’re ideal for travel and as they’re sterile and individually wrapped, they give you peace of mind. It’s also reassuring that Vital Baby Nurture single use sterile feeding bottles are BPA-free and made from 100% recyclable materials. Just watch out for those last few drops and a resulting floppy bottle.
