Amazon launches new grocery and household essentials sale with up to 40% off

Today, Amazon has launched its very first Everyday Essentials Week, a new sale based entirely around bog-standard household items like cleaning supplies, pet food and toilet roll.
From now until Tuesday 27th May, customers can shop up to 40% off household items and up to 30% off groceries from hundreds of brands like Andrex, Fairy, Flash, Gillette, Cadbury and more.
The retail giant has said this sale will include "deals on products for every room of the home, and for every member of the family."

What is the Amazon Everyday Essentials UK sale?
This inaugural sale focuses entirely on everyday household items including beauty, grocery, health, personal care, and pets.
Amazon has promised deals for every room in the home, with up to 40% off household essentials from the likes of Andrex, Fairy, Tommee Tippee, and WaterWipes. Highlighted products include baby wipes, shampoo, toilet roll, coffee pods, pet food, and fabric softener.
Customers can also find up to 30% off grocery products, from Cadbury, Nestlé, Twinings and more, plus an additional 15% off own-brand products from Amazon Basics, Amazon Essentials, and by Amazon.
How long does Amazon Everyday Essentials Week last?
The sale will run from midnight on Wednesday 21st May until 23:59pm on Tuesday 27th May. So it's a full week of discounted shopping and savings.
Do you have to be a Prime member to shop the Amazon Everyday Essentials sale?
No. Any customer can shop the Amazon Everyday Essentials without becoming a Prime member. However, if you are a Prime member you can enjoy the perks of free and next-day delivery.
If you've yet to sign up to Prime, they run a 30-day free trial followed by a fee of £8.99 a month.
