Annabel Karmel’s pear, apple and blueberry purée

A sweet snack rich in flavonoids for bright-eyed babes

  • 2 dessert apples, peeled

  • 2 ripe pears, peeled

  • 100g blueberries

  • 2-3 tbsp water


  • Step 1

    Remove the cores from the pears and apples. Roughly chop the fruit and place in a saucepan with the water and blueberries. Simmer for 8-10 minutes, until soft.

  • Step 2

    Whizz until smooth using a blender.
