½ tsp finely grated piece of fresh root ginger, finely grated
Mix together the sesame seed oil, honey and ginger for the marinade and put in a shallow dish. Cut the salmon into 2cm cubes and put in the dish, spooning over the marinade. Leave for an hour, turning occasionally.
Preheat the grill to high, and line the grill pan with foil. Thread the salmon cubes onto the wooden skewers and brush again with the marinade.
Grill for about 5 mins each side, basting with the marinade. Remove salmon from skewers and serve with boiled basmati rice and steamed vegetables.
Soak the two wood skewers in water before threading on the salmon to stop them burning in the grill
