How to make raw vegan witches fingers for Halloween

- Makes 16 fingers
Ingredients
- 5 California prunes
- 3 Dried dates
- 2tbsp Maple syrup
- 1tbsp Honey
- 1tbsp Water
- A pinch of salt (optional)
- ¼tsp Ground cloves
- 1tsp Cocoa powder
- ¼tsp Ground cardamom
- 75g Walnuts
- 90g Almonds
For decoration
- Pumpkin seeds
- 1tsp Red fruit puree
Method
- STEP 1
Blend almonds and walnuts until almost grounded, set aside.
- STEP 2
In a food processor blend California Prunes, dates, maple syrup and honey until a paste is formed. Add water if needed.
- STEP 3
Add almonds and walnuts, salt, cocoa and spices and blend until a dough forms. If dough is too sticky add a little more almonds/walnuts.
- STEP 4
Divide the dough into 1 inch balls and roll them into finger shapes.
- STEP 5
Place pumpkin seed at the tip using small amount of fruit pure.
- STEP 6
Serve immediately or keep refrigerated until needed.
