Organic roasted pear and rhubarb with vanilla

A fab first weaning recipe for your little one


Makes 4 servings


You’ll need:

Organic pear x 2

Organic rhubarb, 1 small pink stem

Organic vanilla extract

2 x tablespoon water

1 Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

2 Core, peel and quater the pears and cut the rhubarb into pieces.

3 Place the pear and rhubarb into a roasting tin and mix with the vanilla extract. Place the water in the bottom of the baking dish.

4 Place in the oven for 25-30 minutes, baking until the fruit is tender.

5 Remove from the oven. Blend the fruits until smooth with a hand blender. You may need to add a little water to reach the desired texture.

Serving suggestions:

Organic full fat yoghurt.
