Annabel Karmel's sausage hedgehog
Ingredients
- 1 Grapefruit
- Liquorice strips
- 1 Black olive, stoned
- Cocktail sausages
- Cocktail sticks
Method
- STEP 1
Cut a thin slice off the base of the grapefruit so that it sits flat on a plate. Then, using a sharp knife, make two slits for eyes and insert liquorice strips to make eyelashes.
- STEP 2
To form the hedgehog’s nose, attach the black olive to the grapefruit using half a cocktail stick.
- STEP 3
Cook the sausages, spear with cocktail sticks and stick into the grapefruit to form the hedgehog’s spikes.
