  • 1 Packet of ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 4 Rashers of bacon
  • 1 Tin of baked beans
  • Cheddar cheese
    grated
  • 1 Egg
    beaten to glaze

Method

  • step 1

    Cut the puff pastry into squares and lightly score in half along the diagonal.

  • step 2

    Chop the bacon and stir into the baked beans.

  • step 3

    Place a heaped spoonful of bacon and bean mix into the centre of one half of the pastry square, and top with grated cheese.

  • step 4

    Fold the pastry in half along the diagonal. Brush the edges with beaten egg and press together to make a triangular shape.

  • step 5

    Brush all over with beaten egg and bake at 200 degrees centigrade for 20-25 minutes.
