Fish pie

Makes 2 portions. Suitable for 12 months +.



100g white fish fillet e.g. cod, haddock, plaice

1 large potato, peeled, cubed and boiled

200ml milk

1 knob of butter

2tbsp frozen peas

1 pouch Cook at Home cheese sauce

1tbsp grated cheese


You could also try using salmon instead of white fish



  • Step 1

    Put the milk and butter in a pan and heat to boiling point, then reduce heat to a simmer.

  • Step 2

    Put the fish in the milk and poach over a low heat, turning once. It should take only a few minutes tocook through.

  • Step 3

    Remove the cooked fish, retaining the milk mixture and fl ake the fish, carefully removing all bones.

  • Step 4

    Place the flaked fish into a small oven proof dish with the frozen peas and pour over the cheese sauce.

  • Step 5

    Mash the potato, adding a little of the reserved milk and use to top the fish and cheese mixture. Sprinkle over the cheese and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
