Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil
  • 400g Macaroni
  • 140g Frozen peas
  • 200g Soft cheese
  • A few rashers of bacon
  • 1 Leek

Method

  • STEP 1

    In a deep based fying pan, fry the leeks and bacon in a splash of oil until the leeks are soft.

  • STEP 2

    Cook the macaroni according to the packet instructions. Once cooked, reserve 150ml of the liquid.

  • STEP 3

    Add the soft cheese, liquid that you have reserved and peas to the leek and bacon mixture. Stir until the cheese has melted and the peas have cooked – approx 3 mins.

  • STEP 4

    Stir in the cook macaroni and heat through.
