Furious David and Victoria Beckham have ordered that their leaked family Christmas card, featuring their four children barely dressed, to be removed from the internet.
The photo on the Beckhams' Christmas card, which was taken by dad David, shows Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 9, Cruz, 5 and Harper, 5 months, posing in bed along with the caption “Twas the night before Christmas.”
Footballer Becks and former Spice Girl Posh sent out their seasonal greeting card to a select number of journalists, newspaper editors and magazine editors around the globe.
The family picture was first shared with the rest of the world on Twitter by Jane Keltner De Valler, senior fashion news director of Teen Vogue magazine.
“Cutest thing about @victoriabeckham’s xmas card? Photo cred on back that reads ‘Picture by Daddy’,” tweeted Jane.
Jo Elvin, the editor of Glamour magazine UK, also posted a picture of the card on Twitter, but later removed it and apologised for sharing it.
“I should point out, the Christmas card from the Beckhams is NOT for publication. It was private. My bad. Sorry, got swept up in adorableness,” Jo tweeted.
The Daily Mail also removed the pic from its website after receiving a request from the celebrity couple’s spokesman to take it down.
Sending an intimate and personal celebrity Christmas card to journalists and expecting them to keep it to themselves? Hmmm, Christmas miracles can happen, we suppose!
