It's been a busy baby week in celebville!
It's been a busy baby week in celebville!

As the mum of two little boys, model Lisa B made no secret about her wish to have a daughter. However, after eating a low-sodium, high-fat diet and consulting a Chinese astrologer (all of which are supposed to help women to conceive a girl), 38-year-old Lisa is expecting…a boy!

“I was armed and ready with my militant have-a-girl operation when I found out I had already conceived, so it was too late to put it into action,' explains Lisa, who is already mum to sons Noah, three, and Orlando, five, with her husband Anton Bilton. “I guess the stars weren't aligned. The good news is that I'm all geared up for boys.”

Meanwhile, another celeb mum-to-be has found out the sex of her baby too. Denise Van Outen, 35, has revealed that she is pregnant with  (look away now Lisa B!) a girl.

Finding out what she was expecting made it all too real for Denise and her 28-year-old beau, Lee Mead. “'I feel really content. I think finding that out the sex has been the most euphoric, emotional part of the pregnancy, because it made it feel real,” she said in an interview with Hello! magazine. As for choosing a name for their little girl, let’s hope Denise doesn’t take other people’s advice! “I asked my friend’s little girl what she thought we should call our baby and she said, ‘Teapot.’”

Elsewhere in the land of showbiz, a popstar has welcomed an addition to his family. Westlife star, Shane Filan has become a dad for the third time with a son named after him – Shane Peter Filan.

Already daddy to Nicole Rose, 4, and Michael, 16 months, Shane dashed to the Sligo General Hospital in Ireland where his wife Gillian gave birth to little Shane, who weighed in at 6lb 9oz. “Shane and Gillian are over the moon with their new arrival. They’re thrilled it’s a boy and have decided to call him after their dad, which Shane is chuffed about,” the couple later said.

In Hollywood, funnyman actor Will Ferrell also welcomed a baby boy – Axel Ferrell! The dad-of-three saw the arrival of his third child hours after entertaining the crowd on The Tonight Show! Will and his wife Viveca Paulin, already parents to sons Magnus, 5, and Mattias, 3, are said to be “doing well”.

Roaming around London, a ready-to-pop pregnant mama was spotted looking blooming gorgeous! Mum-to-be Sara Cox was seen leaving the Radio 1 studios looking happy and bump-tastic. Expecting her third baby, the second with her partner Ben Cyzer, the 35-year-old DJ originally announced her baby news on Twitter. Her new arrival is due in the spring and will join her 5-year-old daughter Lola from previous relationship with Jon Carter, and Isaac, 20 months.
