Mum-to-be Jenna Bush Hager reveals her dad was pleading for months to become a grandad
Despite no longer being in office, former President George W. Bush is still issuing orders – for grandchildren.
The Former US president’s daughter Jenna announced she's pregnant with her first child, and revealed her dad has previously made no secret of his desire for her to start a family.
"My dad saw my husband's boss at a conference, and he said to stop paying my husband until we produce children."
Jenna and hubby Henry were “thrilled” about their baby news, and so are both their families, reports The Daily Mail.
It'll be the first grandchild for President Bush, who’s often remembered for his comical foot-in-mouth remarks.
Jenna and Harry have been married for four years and live in Manhatten, but the mum-to-be recently described herself as a "homesick Texan living in New York".
So after all that not-so-subtle hinting from George, we're sure he'll be pleased to find out he's going to a grandpa!
