Talented US actress Claire Danes is reported to be expecting her first child, according to the Daily Mail, which showed a picture of the actress jogging in New York, with the caption “no bump in sight”.
The star of hit drama Homeland, which was shown on Channel 4 earlier this year, tied the knot with British actor and hunk Hugh Dancy in 2009 and, according to the Mail, has said that being married has made her feel more secure.
“I like marriage. I feel very secure. It helps when you are in love with the person you are married to.
“I do sometimes look at him and think, ‘You are really handsome,’ He keeps me sane and happy,” Claire said.
Selfishly, MFM was a bit worried about the second series of Homeland, which we’re waiting for with bated breath, but apparently, Claire’s pregnancy won’t affect production of series two, which will be shown in the autumn in the US. Phew!
