How did Channing Tatum meet Jenna Dewan?

Channing met dancer/actress Jenna when they starred in the 2006 dance movie Step Up. The pair played love interests Tyler Gage and Nora, respectively.

The couple were in their early 20s when they began falling for each other on set. Jenna later revealed she'd given Channing the chance to be "free" and enjoy the single life, but he said he couldn't stop thinking about her. Aww!

On 11 July 2009, after 3 years together, Jenna married Channing in Malibu, California. They reportedly wed in front of 220 guests.

In early 2013, it was revealed that Jenna was pregnant with the couple's 1st child ?

In early April 2013, at around 7 months, Jenna proudly showcased her bump in a fashion shoot with US Glamour magazine. Pictured above!

Jenna was snapped at 8 months pregnant, 2 weeks before her May due date!

Fun fact: Jenna was pregnant at the same time Kim Kardashian-West was expecting North.

Everly Tatum

On 31 May 2013, Jenna gave birth to the couple's 1st child, a baby girl named Everly. On their official websites, the couple shared the following statement:

"Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31st in London."

So, unlike her American mum and dad, it would seem that little Everly is technically a Brit, just like us ?

Channing and Jenna have both been quite protective of Everly, so they haven't shared many pics of her online - as is their right.

However, they have shared a few glimpses into their family life on Instagram - most recently Jenna shared a makeover snap that proves 4-year-old Everly was quite the gifted make-up artist!

Channing and Jenna separate

On 3 April 2018, Channing and Jenna announced that they had split after 9 years together, in a joint statement on social media.

The couple have not explicitly stated that they have officially filed for divorce, nor did they give an obvious reason for their separation, other than saying they're both "on different paths".

It read: “Hey world! So… We have something we would like to share.

"First off, it feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it’s a consequence of the lives we’ve chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for.

"We’re living in an incredible moment in time, but it’s also a time where truth can easily get distorted into 'alternative facts' so we want to share the truth so you know that if you didn’t read it here then it’s most certainly fiction.

"We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together.

"Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.

"There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision... just 2 best friends realising it's time to take some space."
