Hello Sailor! Jean Paul Gaultier launches baby range
French designer turns his talents to babywear with his new Gaultier Bebe collection - complete with a sailors hat!
Ahoy Mateys! Not long after we revealed that the 'enfant terrible' of fashion was going 'mini' and branching into childrenwear, Jean Paul Gaultier has decided to go the whole hog and design for wee babies too!
Not content with his lavish womenswear designs, Jean Paul has downsized and is about to launch his quirky range of babywear for little ones aged 0-2 years - all clad in his signature sailor detailling, no less.
Complete with babygros, socks and even a rather cool looking sailor cap, this collection is definitely one to show off. With the likes of Little Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Kenzo and Paul Smith getting in on the 'mini me' bandwagon, we definitely smell a fashion-off coming on!
Jean Paul Gaultier's 'Gaultier Bebe' collection will be available from February.
