Maggie, 34, and husband Peter Sarsgaard, announced they were expecting their second child together in November last year.

“I didn’t let anyone know until three and a half months this time,” said Maggie in an interview with USA Today.

She explained the lengths she went to in order to keep her pregnancy on the down low. “I find it difficult to pretend you’re not pregnant, which I had to do. I went to film festivals. I’m throwing up in the bathroom and having to keep pretzels in my purse, and having to fit into dresses.” Since going public the Hollywood star is more than relieved that she can embrace her pregnancy, but hopes the media keep their distance.

“I’m so pregnant,” Maggie said, adding that she’s happy to be able to be able to wear comfy, loose clothes and have an excuse to take her shoes off.
