Man shares film of his wife giving birth in a car and it's incredible!
The video shows the whole birth from start to finish - but why did the husband keep driving?
We have to admit, if we started to give birth in the car on the way to the hospital and our partner's first reaction was to start filming, then there would have been some choice words (whether we were in labour or not). But we're glad this particular dad had his GoPro camera to hand, because the birth of his son – in the front seat of the car – is quite astonishing.
The couple were en route to a birthing centre in Houston, Texas, but the baby just couldn't wait. "Its head, it's just down low," the mother says as the contractions become closer together. "I'm scared I'm gonna have it right here."
What does the dad do? Keep driving. Moments later, she throws her head back to scream as the baby crowns. As the mum breathes through her contractions, within a couple of minutes she delivers the 10lb baby boy herself in the passenger seat while the dad, yep, he continues to drive.
Once the baby is born the woman says repeatedly: "I don't know what to do." She worries that he's not breathing properly and suggests they seek medical help.
But Mr Super-cool dad reassures her, saying: "If he's crying, he's breathing, but hold him upside down, babe. Hold him upside down and pat him on the booty."

Luckily the baby starts taking some good healthy breaths and the couple continue on their way to the hospital - though not before Mr Bargain-hunter dad wonders whether they'll get a discount on the birth centre fees as she's now given birth.
Perhaps it's nerves - who knows how any of us would react - but hats off to the mum who manages to concentrate on the birth of her baby rather than react to her driving husband.
