We take an exclusive first look at the brand new Babyzen Zen pushchair
New kid on the block Babyzen is known for making the compact and very portable YoYo pushchair - the world's first buggy that folds up small enough to fit in an airplane overhead locker.
But now the buggy brand – founded by five French doctors – has made its own travel system, an all-terrain pram called the Zen.
Instead of continuing its trademark tiny style, which has made the YoYo an instant hit among jet-setting parents, Babyzen has made a large and sturdy all-terrain pushchair. It's also got one of the most spacious looking seat unit and carrycot.
To show MFM just how spacious the Zen seat unit is, a Babyzen pushchair specialist sat in the seat for a laugh. You should know he was quite slim and also mention that we don't recommend you go around pushing your partner in your little one's Zen if you get one!
Back to the buggy - the carrycot is also quite wide at 49.5cm and can accommodate children up to the age of 6 months, which is the norm for carrycots. But, while other carrycots start to feel snug once your baby reaches 3 months, with the room Zen it's much more likely that you'll still be using it at 6 months.

However, the size increase means that the Zen is quite heavy, weighing 12.6kg with the carrycot in place.
But it not designed to be light, as the Yoyo is has that side covered. Instead it's designed to be a durable all-terrain buggy, and as such it has air-filled but anti-puncture tyres and a patented “soft-drive” system. This works almost as independent suspension for each wheel.
The Babyzen Zen is available to buy now for £845 from selected stockists and we reckon this buggy has hit written all over it.
