Mothercare Loved So Much swing recalled over safety concerns
Mothercare is urging parents who own this baby swing to stop using it immediately and return it to a Mothercare store
Mothercare has recalled one of its popular baby swings as it says there’s a risk it could be dangerous if it's "assembled incorrectly".
According to the high-street retailer, there is a possibly that the fabric of the seat could become detached from the frame of the swing if it's assembled incorrectly – and that could result in a child failing through the seat.
Bouncers with a batch date of 12/2015 onwards and with a barcode ending in 843611-3 are affected by this recall, as pictured in the image below.
This recall was issued following concerns raised by a mum who said her 10-week-old son fell through a bouncer and was left with a dent in his skull.
According to Kelsa Hutson, her son River dented his head when the swing gave way and he fell to the floor. She says hospital doctors have told her son would have the dent in his skull for the next 2 years.

This is not the first time Mothercare has recalled baby swings. Back in 2013, the Mothercare Loved So Much Travel Swing, Little Circus Travel Swing, My Jungle Family Travel Swing and Please Look After Me Bear’Travel Swing were all recalled due to safety concerns.

Stop using it and return it to Mothercare immediately.
