Pop star Adele and boyfriend are expecting a baby
It looks like Adele will be cradling more than Grammy awards soon - the 24-year-old pop star has announced she is pregnant with her first child!
The British singer-songwriter took to her website to let fans know her and partner Simon Konecki are expecting a baby.
‘I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me,’ said Adele on her website.
Adele said she and Simon were ‘over the moon’ about the news and the mum-to-be continued by asking fans to respect their privacy ‘at this precious time’.
It sounds like the 21 singer may have hopes for a little boy, too. In an interview with Vogue magazine last October Adele said:"If I ever have children, I want five boys. Boys love their mothers whereas girls can be so mean to each other."

The couple started dating last year and have faced recent engagement rumours, which the Grammy award-winning singer denied over Twitter.
But Adele is obviously smitten with Simon, founder of water charity Drop4Drop, recently announcing she’d be taking a step back from the limelight to focus on her personal and romantic life over the next few years.
