A baby’s on the way - for two of our fave soap stars, as Shayne Ward and Sophie Austin have just announced they’re expecting their 1st child ?
The new couple shared their joyous news on Twitter just last night.
Hollyoaks actress Sophie and former X Factor winner Shayne even went to the trouble of composing matching social media statements…
"After much speculation I'm over joyed to announce that @sophieaustin1 and I are expecting our first child. #blessed" Shayne wrote to his 310k followers.

Shayne, best known as Aidan Connor in Coronation Street, and Sophie, who recently left her dramatic role as gloved-handed killer Lindsey in Hollyoaks, first went public with their relationship just 4 months ago.
And the couple's hardcore fans were overjoyed to hear about Sophie's pregnancy.
Shayne sent the well-wishers a quick thank you note, again on Twitter:
"Myself & @SophieAustin1 feel So Blessed," he wrote. "Thank you for Such caring & lovely messages.❤️ New adventure for the 3 of us.! #Happiness #family"
