Your baby is growing really rapidly now and by the end of this week he’ll be around 4cm long – the size of a strawberry. It’s actually starting to get more difficult to measure your baby’s length as his legs are curled up under himself. Now find out how your baby is developing… How is your baby growing? Incredibly the structure of your baby’s brain is now complete, although brain cells are still multiplying away. The most dramatic change is to his face, which is now looking distinctly human. His eyes are moving into the right position in the front of his head. Under his closed eyelids, his irises are developing. Now find out what’s happening to your body… What’s happening to your body? This is when the weight might start to go on and you may find some of your clothes becoming a little tight. Your waistline may already be thickening and you may be developing a fuller, softer shape. If you’re destined to have an early bump, you may even be finding it hard to fasten up the button on your jeans. Of course, saying all that, some of you won’t see any changes yet.
