Our awards judges – all parents with babies of their own – tested out the best baby tech around to share their honest feedback. Paying close attention to how effective each device was, whether it was worth the money and how easy it was to use, these are the products they believe can help make life with a little baby so much easier.

A reliable baby monitor makes all the difference when it comes to peace of mind. Packed with parent-friendly features, video monitors offer the kind of reassurance every new mum or dad needs, making it easy to always keep an eye on your sleeping baby.
Baby monitors are often an investment, which is why we called on the help of our parent testers to really put a mix of monitors to the test. They looked at picture quality, sound quality, safety features, how easy they were to set up and whether they justified the price tag. These are our winners.

Smart baby monitors go the extra mile, keeping tabs on your baby’s movement while they sleep. Perfect for easing the worries of any new parent, a high-tech baby movement monitor can be worth every penny if you want that extra level of reassurance.
Our community of parent testers tried out a range of high-spec baby movement monitors, to help you decide which are worth the splurge. From accuracy (a non-negotiable) and ease of set up to the variety of comforting features they offer for parents, these are the ones that came out on top.

This year, we were so impressed by the standard of entries that we’ve awarded a joint Gold and, for the first time ever, not one, but three joint Editors’ Choice awards. Every product stood out in its own right, and narrowing them down was no easy task.

As a mom of a 3- and 6-year-old and an early years teacher, I found The Phonics App to be a well-structured and educational tool that aligns closely with how my children are learning phonics in their school. It offers a clear learning progression—from simple sounds to digraphs and tricky words—and the phonics content is accurate and thoughtfully presented. I especially appreciated the tutorial videos.
