Annabel Karmel's Turkey Dinner Purée

Ingredients
- 2 tsp sunflower oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 75g parsnip, peeled and diced
- 150g sweet potato, peeled and diced
- 200g minced turkey thigh
- 200 ml unsalted chicken stock
- 30g fresh spinach
- 1 tsp fresh thyme chopped
- 20g Cheddar cheese, grated
Method
- STEP 1
Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onion and fry for 3 minutes. Add the parsnip, sweet potato and minced turkey. Brown over the heat for a further 3 minutes
- STEP 2
Add the stock, cover and simmer for 15 minutes
- STEP 3
Add the spinach and thyme. Stir until wilted. Blend to the desired consistency, and then stir in the grated cheese
- STEP 4
Blend to the desired consistency for your baby
