Blueberry, apple and peach puree

This trio of stewed fruits is delicious stirred into natural yoghurt for a nutritious breakfast, suitable from 6 months

Blueberry, apple and peach puree
  • 3 whole sweet eating apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped
  • 2 whole ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 50g blueberries
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp baby rice, (optional)


  • Step 1

    Put the fruit into a heavy based, lidded saucepan with the water and cook over a low heat taking care that it doesn’t burn. Add a little more water if necessary. 

  • Step 2

    When the apples are soft, puree in a blender until you reach the desired consistency for your baby’s age (smooth for first foods). 

  • Step 3

    If the mixture is too thin, stir in a tablespoon of baby rice to thicken and add texture.

  • Delicious stirred into mashed banana or organic yoghurt.
