Apples, cherries and peaches make up this delicious dessert suitable as a first food

Orchard fruit puree
  • 1 whole medium eating apple
  • 10 whole cherries¬†
  • 1 whole peach¬†


  • Step 1

    Peel and chop the apple. Place in a saucepan and cover with boiling water. Cook for a few minutes on a low heat until the apple has softened.

  • Step 2

    Stone and chop the cherries.

  • Step 3

    Peel and chop the peach into chunks.

  • Step 4

    Strain the apple and add to the cherries and peaches then blend to the correct consistency: runny for newly weaning babies; lumpier for older babies.

  1. Choose a sweet variety of apple like Gala or Pink Lady. 
  2. Suitable for freezing.
