
Sweet potato and pear puree

Make 10 freezable portions of this tasty puree, suitable for first weaning

- 3 Sweet potatoes
- 4 Conference pears
Method
- step 1- Scrub and peel the sweet potatoes, then chop into 2cm cubes. 
- step 2- Place sweet potatoes in a pan and cover with boiling water. Bring back to the boil and simmer for around 15 minutes, until just tender. 
- step 3- Meanwhile, peel and chop the pears. 
- step 4- Add the chopped pears to the pan and return to the boil for around six minutes. 
- step 5- Drain and mash or puree, as required.
