Eating healthily is imortant, as sperm need vitamins A, C and E, and the minerals zinc and selenium if they are to develop properly. Folic acid is also important to help the testes produce normally formed sperm.
Regular exercise will help him maintain a healthy weight and is a great stress-buster – high levels of stress are thought to detrimentally affect sperm production.
It’s a good idea to keep the scrotum cool by wearing loose-fitting underwear and not sitting for long periods of time.
