Adele’s baby news only surfaced on 29 June but reportedly, the Someone like you singer is already 7-months pregnant and is due to give birth in early September.
“Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible,” a source close to the star has told heat magazine.
“She stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it’s been all about the baby.”
The 24-year-old singer arrived late to the Ivor Novello awards in May, shunning the press and the red carpet, and reportedly keeping a very low profile during the ceremony. Adele wore a long and loose fitting black dress, and later only tweeted a close-up snap of herself with her awards.
The Grammy award-winning singer also reportedly turned down the offer to be the headline act at the iconic Glastonbury festival this year. Allegedly, she said the crowd size of 80,000 people was too daunting, but now it seems her reluctance to perform was because she would be in the later stages of pregnancy.
Adele’s been keeping her pregnancy super-secret, unlike fellow award winning singer Beyonce (aka Blue Ivy’s mum) who memorably first revealed her bump on stage at the MTV Awards last year.
If you’re finding keeping mum in those tricky first 12 weeks of pregnancy difficult, there are ways to conceal your pregnancy before you’re ready to reveal your news.
