Pregnant Adele is believed to be pouring all of her experiences of being a mum-to-be into her third album.
According to US weekly magazine, Adele’s pregnancy has “had a big impact on her songwriting” and has sparked a change in her approach to lyrics.
In a bold move from singing about her past loves and break-ups, Adele’s latest album is reportedly going to be “lighter”, shining the light on her excitement at the imminent arrival of her first baby.
Adele, along with boyfriend Simon Konecki, has kept a low profile since announcing her pregnancy. However, a few small details have crept out, including Adele’s cravings for Shepherd’s Pie and giving up swearing. Simon’s also said to have his eye on a £3,000 Buddha necklace to give to Adele as a ‘push present’. Whether these exact details will make it into her music are yet to become clear. But we do rather like the idea of an ode to Shepherd’s Pie…
