Alex Gerrard just can’t wait for the birth of her third child, despite still having two months to go before the new arrival's due. “I’m really excited – it’s only two months to go until the birth but I feel huge”, she revealed in her OK! magazine column.

Alex, who is already mum to Lilly-Ella, 7, and Lexie, 5, has revealed she is finding her third pregnancy the hardest to cope with. “The sooner the baby comes out the better, as I’m finding it a struggle being pregnant now. I’m not really thinking about getting back into shape yet, but I must admit I can’t wait to be able to wear a top and have no belly underneath it,” she said.

Alex and husband Steven Gerrard announced the pregnancy earlier this year and Alex has said that it’s brought them closer to together. “It’s great because he’s had loads of time off and we’re both really happy.”

She also added that Steven has been taking really good care of her. “He’s being so nice. He took me away toDubaiand got me a very nice present. He’s very caring and is looking after me”.

And it may seem early but Christmas is already on Alex’s mind, with the baby due in November. “Once the baby arrives, I don’t want to be rushing around the shops getting everybody’s Christmas presents so I’m starting now. I want to get everything organised so that when the baby comes, I can relax and enjoy our first Christmas together.”

Alex has also been considering names: “I like the name Mel B chose for her daughter, Madison – although it’s quite common inLiverpool so I don’t think I’d choose it,” she wrote in her column.

Let’s hope she doesn’t go as overdue as Mel B though!
