Barbie is calling on the British government to join a campaign to make sure that women are paid the same as men in the workplace.
It’s believed that Barbie, now 50, will be able to help end a continuing trend of unfair pay.
According to a 2009 study from the Office of National Statistics (ONS), women are earning, on average, 16.4% less than men.
Over her career, Barbie has tried her hand at hundreds of professions, from designer and astronaut to computer engineer, and is now calling on UK women who agree with her campaign to join her to help inspire a generation of girls.
