David and Victoria name their new baby daughter
Victoria Beckham gave birth to the couple’s fourth child, a girl, early Sunday morning in LA, and yesterday they confirmed their new daughter’s name as Harper Seven, with the number being a reference to David’s football number when he played for Manchester United and England.
The Press Assocition issued a statement saying Harper was born on Sunday morning, weighing 7lb 10oz at Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai hospital.
The news was announced by the Beckhams spokesperson, Simon Oliveira, on Sunday via Twitter: “David & Victoria Beckham are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter.”
“Happy and healthy she arrived at 7.55am this morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and weighed 7lbs 10oz.”
This is their fourth child, as the couple already have three boys – Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, five.
David made a statement via Facebook, posting on his official Facebook page: “I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx.”
