The singer, who’s mum to 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, stars in the Swedish retailers campaign modelling pieces inspired by her individual and eclectic style.
Beyoncé reportedly gave personal input in the pieces seen in the campaign, and the collection is said to embody the idea that all women can be all things: strong, vulnerable, sensual, maternal, fun, and flirtatious. The clothing will be available from the beginning of May in H&M stores worldwide and online.
The musical mum looks fantastic in the campaign, but has recently revealed that she works hard to maintain her shape and that she’s not naturally slim.
In an interview with Shape magazine she revealed how she lost the 57 pounds she gained while she was pregnant with Blue Ivy, and says breastfeeding, combined with a healthy diet and her dance workouts helped her regain her pre-baby body.
“I’m not a person that is naturally very thin, I’m a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape,” Beyoncé said.
“I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again!”
The star also revealed her healthy approach to loving the skin you are in, admitting that everyone should celebrate their own bodies, and focus on their health.
“Everyone is not supposed to be the same,” she said. “Be healthy and take care of yourself but be happy with the beautiful things that make you you.”
Here at MFM we love Beyoncé’s positive approach to post-pregancy body image!
