Boden getting into the crimbo spirit!
Cute felt Christmas tree printed tee
Greeted by a huge silver ‘B’ and rows upon rows of pretty party dresses, we knew we were in for a treat at the Boden A/W 2011 and Christmas press preview show.
Presented in a swish art gallery space in the heart of London, boden showcased their upcoming part collection for fashion conscious mums, pregnant mums-to-be and stylish tots. We also spied the Christmas goodies as well as jewellery charm bracelets, shoes and came face to face with a giant Reindeer! (See the gallery below)
We loved how luxe and glam the dresses were – think gorgeous silk colour block, A-line frocks, jewel hued shifts and scalloped trimmed numbers, which are all perfect for the festive season. We also adored the new charm bracelets and necklace that you can collect – a perfect way to accessorise a plain shift dress for work (or play!)
The maternity collection is a relatively new addition to the Boden family and we think they’ve come up trumps with the upcoming range. Featuring the signature Boden dots and colour palette, we were loving the wrap around dresses and attention to detail – because let’s face it, even if you’re pregnant, you still want to feel and look fabulous.
The childrenswear was just as gorgeous, with their impressive collection of quirky socks, duffel jackets (perfect for back to school time) as well as ADORABLE mice and monkey mitten and hat sets. We were sold on the pretty Christmas tree motif felt-decorated tee, which is novelty but without the typical red and green colours. Very cute. Oh! – and don’t forget to check out the ginham wearing Reindeer jumper too!
Overall, we loved how special and colour-bursting the Boden collections were – from eclectic flair to traditional chic for the ladies, and bright and bold for the little ones.
Now you’ve got a head start on what’s on the way this A/W 2011, maybe it’s time to start dropping those all important hints to the other half…
If you can’t wait until Christmas, Boden have a whopping great sale on at the moment…. just saying….
